RMC Men’s Volleyball Travels to Kamloops BC Thanks to Support from the Class of 1971

The RMC Men’s Volleyball team recently traveled to Kamloops, British Columbia, to compete in a challenging tournament against three strong western universities: Trinity Western University, Thompson Rivers University, and the University of the Fraser Valley. Each match RMC played was very competitive and provided the team valuable playing time against some of the top teams in the country. Furthermore, informal scrimmages played against these top teams greatly contributed to the development of the RMC team. The trip also provided an opportunity to bond more closely, which not only helped their technical abilities on the court, but also helped team dynamics.

The trip was made possible through the generous financial contributions of the Class of 1971 Danny McLeod Athletics Fund, whose support covered essential travel costs. Their donations allowed the team to compete in this important pre-season event. The RMC Men’s Volleyball team is very grateful to the Alumni for their continued support of the program. Their contributions have a lasting impact, enabling the team to pursue competitive opportunities such as this which was crucial for development and long-term success. The players are proud to represent RMC and its Alumni network as they look to the start of their regular season.
