On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Royal Military Colleges of Canada Foundation, I want to recognize our staff for their outstanding contribution in 2020, and welcome new Officer Cadets to St-Jean and Kingston.
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to challenge businesses big and small, our mandate to support Canada’s future leaders has not wavered. I am proud of the Foundation team, led by Executive Vice-President Nancy Marr, who in the past three years has doubled the assets of the Foundation. The team continues to execute our business plan with success even in today’s trying social distancing environment. Programs are ongoing, costs have been managed well, the team is communicating despite remote access and we in all aspects are ready to welcome the Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 preparatory and first year cadets to the colleges.
This will be a unique and innovative entry year for future officers in the Canadian Armed Forces. These two cohorts have my assurance that our staff is ready for the challenge – just as you are!! Welcome to RMC/CMR – the Foundation staff are here to support you through this magnificent journey you are embarking on.
Sincerely,
Chris Theal Ret’ LT (N), 18524
