Simply put, joining a group gets you connected with other alumni as quickly as possible. Lets start by joining your Year’s group. Just go to the Join a Group page, select the appropriate group and click ‘Request Membership’. Once the class secretary or appointed administrator has approved your request you’ll be able to see everything that happens within the group!
Changing the information in your profile is easy, simply click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen, select ‘View Profile’, and then click ‘Edit’. Now you can update your personal information as desired. Be sure to also update your avatar by choosing a picture of yourself, and uploading it for use on the website!
While you’re in the process of updating your profile, you can also specify with whom you share your information. Under each field, you’ll notice “This field can be seen by…”. This can be updated by clicking ‘Change’, and selecting between: Everyone, All Members, My Friends, and Only Me.
To view and register for upcoming events, go to the Events page, browse for your desired events, and select the number of tickets you wish to purchase. You will then be prompted to fill in same basic information to complete the transaction; it’s that easy!
Anytime someone interacts with you or a group you’re associated with, be it a friend request, a private message, or a post in a group your in, you’ll receive a notification. Notifications can be viewed by clicking on your name in the top right-hand side of the screen and clicking ‘Notifications’.
